Courtney Cuppett, Bradley Gecina set summer wedding

X COLUMBIANA — John and Chris Gecina of Columbiana are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their son, Bradley John Gecina, to Dr. Courtney Dawn Cuppett, daughter of Donald and Tricia Cuppett of Uniontown, Pa.

The bride-elect is a summa cum laude graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. She completed her medical degree at West Virginia University in Morgantown and is a third-year obstetrics and gynecology resident at Ruby Hospital in Morgantown.

The prospective groom graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington with a bachelor’s degree in sports management. He is an independent scholastic sales representative with Jostens.

The couple plan to marry July 12 at St. Francis de Sales Church in Morgantown. An evening reception will follow at the Waterfront Place Hotel in Morgantown.
