IRS will help people file tax returns so they can get payments


YOUNGSTOWN —The Internal Revenue Service and many community organizations are opening their offices Saturday to help people file a tax return so they can receive their Economic Stimulus Payment. The nationwide event, known as Super Saturday, and will offer residents a way to file for their rebate at no charge. In the Youngstown area, people can receive assistance at the following locations: Youngstown State University, Williamson Hall, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and IRS Office, 10 East Commerce St., 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. IRS personnel and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about the Economic Stimulus payments and file tax returns, which must done in order to receive a stimulus payment.
