Cardinal Mooney to host traditional auction

YOUNGSTOWN — On April 11 Cardinal Mooney High School will host its fifth annual “Continue the Tradition” auction, at which nearly 500 items will be available to bidders.

In addition to the live auction, there will be silent auctions, a Chinese auction, and a raffle for a first prize of a four-day, three-night trip with round-trip airfare to the Palazzo in Las Vegas.

George Roman, auctioneer, will direct the proceedings, and bids will be accepted for such items as trips to Hawks Cay Resort in Florida, Snowshoe Mountain in West Virginia, Reunion Resort in Florida and Palmetto Bluffs Resort in South Carolina.

The auction also will feature a trip to Fallsview Casino in Canada, Kelly Pavlik’s autographed boxing gloves and premium seats for his title defense bout in June, golf and lunch with congressman Tim Ryan, a cycling bike, a laptop computer and a Nintendo Wii with games, and a 32-inch LCD television.

Tickets are $60 and can be purchased by calling (330) 788-5007.
