Man, 27, arrested in South Euclid fatality

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio (AP) — Police in Northeast Ohio say they’ve arrested a 27-year-old man who they believe fatally shot his father and wounded his mother in their home.

South Euclid police say they arrested Walter Spencer Jr. Sunday morning at an intersection in the suburban Cleveland city. He’s being held at the city’s jail.

Authorities issued a warrant for Spencer after relatives Saturday night found 50-year-old Walter Spencer shot to death in a chair in the living room. Forty nine-year-old Jeanette Spencer was also found shot in the home and is in critical condition at Huron Hospital in East Cleveland.
