Local acheivements for the week of March 24, 2008

MEDICINE

Glenn Riley has been named vice president of operations at UPMC Horizon in Farrell, Pa., and Greenville, Pa. He is responsible for a number of hospital ancillary and support departments.

He had been program director of ancillary services at UPMC Horizon. He earned a bachelor’s degree in health sciences from Western Michigan University and a master’s degree in health service administration from Gannon University.

ADVERTISING

Anthony Orlando Jr. has joined the Regional Chamber as an advertising account executive. His primary responsibility is selling advertising and sponsorships to area businesses and organizations.

He previously worked for the chamber in 1997 and 1998. He is the owner/operator of The Jungle Gym in Boardman and had worked as a service operations manager at Valley Industrial Trucks in Boardman and general manager at the Omega Door Co. in Youngstown.

The Poland resident earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing management at Youngstown State University.
