Announcement made of Hannis, Walsh engagement

X AUSTINTOWN — The engagement of Molly Ann Hannis, a daughter of Jim and Ann Hannis, 2268 Penny Lane, and Timothy Michael Walsh, a son of Michael and Susan Walsh, 5691 Cider Mill Crossing, is being announced by the parents of the bride-elect.

The couple will be united in marriage Aug. 2 in an open ceremony at 2 p.m. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Invitations will be extended for their reception that evening at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Hall in Youngstown.

Miss Hannis received a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Youngstown State University, where she is pursuing a master's in special education. She is a reading intervention teacher with Austintown Local Schools.

Mr. Walsh is a teacher and coach with Austintown schools. He graduated from YSU with a bachelor's degree in secondary education.
