Impaired driving enforcement on Saturday night

The Mahoning County OVI Task Force will have increased impaired driving enforcement, enforcing a zero tolerance for OVI (Operating a Vehicle Impaired) offenders.

A sobriety checkpoint will be conducted in Mahoning County on Saturday from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

The checkpoint location has not been announced.

The mission of the Mahoning County OVI Task Force is to keep our roadways safe by reducing alcohol and drug related crashes through public awareness and enforcement. The task force encourages responsible drinking and the use of sober designated drivers.
