Judge revokes bond for Warren man involved in Taser incident
WARREN – Bond has been revoked on a 19-year-old man who skipped bond Tuesday after being Tasered while in the living room of his home on St. Patrick’s Day.
Shaun Evans, 19, of Brier Street, posted a $9,000 surety bond Monday morning after his arrest on charges of failure to comply with the order of a police officer, obstructing official business, resisting arrest, driving under a suspended license and driving while impaired. During his arrest, police fired a Taser into his chest to subdue him and the barbs were removed at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital because he resisted help from paramedics. He failed to show up Tuesday for his hearing, and Municipal Judge Terry Ivanchak issued an arrest warrant for him.
Police arrested Evans on Wednesday, and Judge Ivanchak revoked his bond. He is in the Trumbull County Jail.
