As of March 15, 2008, at least 1,043 Ohio soldiers have been wounded in Iraq.
THE COST
The National Priorities Project, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit research group, estimates the war has cost Ohio $18.3 billion since the U.S. invasion in 2003.
