A checklist of local, state and federal institutions and local businesses that will be opened or closed Good Friday or Monday unless otherwise noted. Residents of communities not listed should check their governmental office schedules.

City offices: Youngstown, Warren, Salem, open both days; Niles, Sharon, administrative offices, closed Friday, open Monday; New Castle, closed Friday, open Monday; Newton Falls Municipal Court, closed Friday, open Mon.

County offices: Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana, open both days; Mercer and Lawrence, both closed Friday, open Monday.

State offices: Open both days.

Federal offices: Open both days.

U.S. Postal Service: Open both days.

Schools: Youngstown, closed Friday, classes resume March 31; Boardman, closed Friday, classes resume March 31; Warren, closed Friday, classes resume March 27; Niles, closed Friday, classes resume March 31; Salem, closed Friday, classes resume March 31; Sharon, closed Friday and Monday; New Castle, closed Friday and Monday; Youngstown Diocese, closed Friday, classes resume March 31.

Universities: Youngstown State, open both days; Kent State Trumbull Campus, open both days.

Western Reserve Transit Authority (WRTA): Open both days.

Stock market: Butler Wick & Co., closed Friday.

Banks: Chase Bank, Charter One, Farmers National, First National, Home Savings & Loan, Huntington, Key, National City of Ohio and Pennsylvania, US Bank in Poland, Boardman, Canfield and Warren area, open both days. Cortland Banks, open 9-4 Friday.

Trash collection: Allison Brothers Inc., , Allied Waste, Waste Management, Warren City Environmental Services, all regular schedule.
