• Campbell Memorial High School Alumni Association will host its 2008 Scholarship Spring Banquet from 5 to 9 p.m. April 12 at Archangel Michael Community Center, 401 12th St., Campbell. Social hour will begin at 5 p.m. and dinner will be at 6. The event is a major fundraiser for scholarships. Robert Wasko, Class of 1977, will serve as master of ceremonies. Tickets are $40 each and may be purchased by calling the association office at (330) 799-1232.

• Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1954 will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday for breakfast at Denny’s on Boardman-Canfield Road. Classmates and guests are welcome.

• The luncheon meeting Thursday for Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1939 has been canceled. For more information, call Margaret Kalaman Horvath at (330) 755-8356.

• East High School Alumniwill meet at 9 a.m. Friday at Denny's in Boardman.

• East High School Class of 1969 is planning its 40th-year reunion in September 2009. Class members’ names and addresses are needed. Send information to east1969@zoominternet.net.

• East High School Class of 1988 announces its 20th-year reunion July 5 and 6 at the Holiday Inn South in Boardman. For information and reservations, contact the reunion committee at (330) 502-2183 or (614) 354-4808.

• Struthers High School Class of 1956 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. April 5 at Bedford Trails Golf Course. All classmates are welcome. Reservations are necessary; call June Stoeber at (330) 207-7879 before April 1. Plans are being finalized for the class’ 70th birthday party July 19 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Struthers. Details will be mailed to classmates in the near future.

• Wilson High School Class of 1953 will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Johnny’s. Guests are welcome.

• Youngstown State University Black Alumni Centennial Reunion will be held April 11-13 and will feature such activities as a kick-off reception, conference sessions, an awards dinner, a dance and a worship service.
