Obenauf-Romeo engagement is announced

X POLAND — The engagement of Emily G. Obenauf of Athens, Ohio, and Jim D. Romeo of Fort Campbell, Ky., is announced by her father and stepmother, Randy and Kim Obenauf of Poland.

Miss Obenauf is also the daughter of Brenda A. Obenauf of Struthers, and Mr. Romeo is the son of Dennis and Elizabeth Romeo of Struthers.

The couple, who became engaged on Christmas eve, have not made wedding plans yet because of the prospective groom’s impending deployment to the Middle East.

The bride-to-be attends Ohio University in Athens, studying athletic training.

The prospective groom is an Army combat engineer stationed at Fort Campbell.
