Sue Hummer and Deb Muccio, members of the All-American Judges Association, judged entries in the 30th annual Mahoning Valley St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The theme was “Valley of the Fighting Irish.” Winners are:

Best of Parade: Youngstown Sports Grille float with boxing ring theme.

Best Irish Theme: St. Patrick Church, Youngstown.

Best Float: Ancient Order of Hibernians and Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, first; and Phantom Fireworks, second.

Best Band: Ursuline High School, first; and Steel City Drum and Bugle Corps, second.

Best Pipe Band: Red Hackle Pipes and Drums, first; and Gleann Mor Pipe Band, second.

Best Drum Line: Steel City Drum and Bugle Corps, first; and Ursuline High School, second.

Best Marching Unit: The Burke School of Irish Dance, first; and Sons of Confederate Veterans, second.

Best Novelty Float: Mahoning Valley Old Car Club, first; and Aut Mori Grotto Clowns, second.

Best Color Guard: U.S. Marine Air Corps in Vienna, first; and Civil Air Patrol, second.
