Three hurt in shooting at Pa. club


NEW CASTLE, Pa. — Three people were injured by gunfire inside the Elks Club on West Home Street late Friday night, police said.

The victims are Michael Harris, 40, of California, who was hit in the left back and buttocks; Jory Malone, 26, of New Castle, who was hit in the head and chest; and Sherry Huddleston, 44, of New Castle who was struck in the left knee and treated at Jameson Memorial Hospital.

Harris and Malone remain hospitalized in St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. Witness said a fight started inside the club and shots were fired around 11:50 p.m. from a semiautomatic handgun.
