Xi Man competition heads to YSU

YOUNGSTOWN — The women of the Theta Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta at Youngstown State University have scheduled their 12th annual Xi Man competition to support Choose Children Philanthropy Service and the children of the Potential Development Program of Youngstown.

The event will take place at 7 p.m. March 29 at Peaberry’s Cafe on campus at Youngstown State University. This year’s theme is “One Hit Wonders.”

XI Man is a male beauty contest comprising men from all student organizations. Each contestant competes in three events: Sportswear, Inspired Talent and Q&A/Formal Wear. A large portion of the scores also are based upon the money each contestant raises.

Theta Upsilon Chapter has been providing philanthropic services to the children and related agencies of the Youngstown area since 1996
