Woodworth Church names new pastor

POLAND — Timothy Hayes is the new pastor of Woodworth Church of the Brethren, 30 E. Western Reserve Road.

He was an associate student pastor at Good Shepherd Church of the Brethren near Tipp City, where he also was organist.

Pastor Hayes has been a licensed minister in the Southern Ohio District since March 19, 2006, and has been preaching since July 2005. He is a student in the Training in Ministry program and is seeking to fulfill the requirements for ordination.

He and his family, wife Angella and their five children, moved to the area from Dayton.

On Sundays, the church has contemporary music from 9:10 to 9:25 a.m., Sunday school from 9:30 to 10:45 and worship from 10:45 to 11:45.
