Summer wedding to unite Katie Lyell and Adam DeLong

X NILES —Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lyell, 2651 Oak Forest Drive, announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie E. Lyell, and Adam R. DeLong, both of 571 Heatherwood Drive, Warren.

Mr. DeLong is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell DeLong, 612 Marshall Road, McDonald.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church will be the setting for the open wedding at 2:30 p.m. July 5. Invitations will be extended for an evening reception at the Avalon Inn Grand Pavilion in Howland.

The bride-elect graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in political communication and earned a master’s degree in education, specializing in autism and spectrum disorders, at Youngstown State University. She is employed as an intervention specialist for Trumbull County Educational Service Center.

The prospective groom, who attended YSU, works for General Motors in Lordstown.
