Hidden Valley gun show
Hidden Valley Sportsmen’s Club, 268 Gilkey Road, West Middlesex, Pa., is holding a gun show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 29 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 30.
Admission is $4, and children under 12 get in free when accompanied by an adult. Concession stand will be open. Call (724) 528-2700 for information or to reserve a table ($15 for 8-foot table).
Gun show planned
Lowellville — The Mahoning Valley Gun Collectors will hold its spring gun show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 5 and 6 at the Lowellville Rod and Gun Club on Quarry Road.
Admission is $4. Exhibitor tables are available for $30 for both days or $20 for one day. MVGC members may rent tables for $25 for both days or $15 for one day.
All firearms must be unloaded, open action and are subject to inspection before entering. For information, call (330) 506-9194.
Trout Unlimited banquet
Neshannock Chapter of Trout Unlimited is holding its 30th annual Spring Banquet on April 5 at the Shenango Valley Civic Center. The center is at the corner of Shenango Avenue and Pitt Street in Sharon, Pa.
The Banquet begins at 5 p.m. with a buffet dinner at 6:30. There will be raffles, games and auctions with more than $3,000 in prizes. Also featured are guest fly tiers Dave Schmezer and Charles Moxley.
A $25 ticket includes a buffet dinner and a chance at a door prize. All are welcome to help support conservation efforts for cold water resources. Discounts for couples as well as individuals and corporate sponsorships are available. For more information, call (330) 638-2982 or (724) 588-4378.
Pheasants Forever
The new Mahoning Valley chapter of Pheasants Forever is holding its first banquet April 12 at Sorrento’s Restaurant Banquet Room, 248 Parkman Road N.W., Warren.
The banquet will include games, raffles and a live and silent auction for guns, hunts and artwork. Tickets are $55 for single and $75 for couples. Tickets include meal, open bar and membership in Pheasants Forever. For tickets, call Jim Waldman at (330) 766-2193.
Pheasants Forever is dedicated to the conservation of pheasants, quail and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public awareness, education and land management policies and programs.

Ohio Deer Turkey Expo
The 2008 Ohio Deer Turkey Expo will be held today and Sunday at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus. Two new features are the Locked Antler Display and Trail Camera Photo Contest.
Hours are: today, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are available at the door. Children 11 and under get in free when accompanied by an adult.
