CASA program to mark 20th year with dinner
YOUNGSTOWN — Mahoning County Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children, known as CASA, will celebrate its 20th anniversary at a dinner May 9 at The Georgetown in Boardman. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and a buffet dinner will begin at 7.
Youngstown Mayor Jay Williams will speak, and a cash bar, 50-50 raffle, silent auction and Chinese auction are planned.
Tickets cost $30 per person or $50 a couple, and reservations are required by April 11. Send a check, payable to Mahoning County CASA, to 300 E. Scott St., Youngstown OH 44505, Attention: Bonnie Lohr.
Corporate-sponsored tables for eight are available for $250 and include recognition in the program and a table sign. Donations to be mentioned in the program are $35, Silver; $50, Gold; and $100, Platinum.
