ACTORS

“Madama Butterfly,” “Il Barbiere de Siviglia,” “Carmen,” “Tosca,” and “Don Giovanni.” Opera Western Reserve is casting at Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra. Auditions are ongoing for section strings: violin, viola, cello and bass are being held for the 2007-08 season. Rehearsals are 7:30-10 Thursday at the Tri-C’s Metropolitan Campus Auditorium in downtown Cleveland. Audition requirements are one solo piece and one orchestral excerpt of your choice.
