X VIENNA — Bill and Cynthia Williams, 1213 Sodom-Hutchings Road, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Janine L. Williams of the same address, and John Paul Sekulich, 114 N. Seventh St., Marietta, a son of John and Joyce Sekulich, 1460 Claremont Drive, San Bruno, Calif.

Miss Williams graduated summa cum laude from the University of Dayton with a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education. She is pursuing a master's degree in school counseling at Walsh University and is a first-grade teacher at Sts. Mary and Joseph School in Newton Falls.

Mr. Sekulich, a graduate of the University of California Berkeley with a degree in history, earned a master's degree in education and athletic administration at Marietta College, where he is a teacher and coach.

The couple will exchange nuptial vows during the open ceremony they have planned for 2:45 p.m. June 28 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Youngstown. Invitations will be extended for their evening reception at Squaw Creek Country Club.
