Weddings: Molly Sheridan and Brian Sacawa

X BALTIMORE, Md. — The Mansion House Porch in Druid Hill Park provided the setting Feb. 9 for the wedding of Molly M. Sheridan, a daughter of Thomas P. and Susan Sheridan of Boardman, and Brian T. Sacawa, a son of Theodore and Barbara Sacawa of Schenectady, N.Y.

The Rev. Kathy D. Campbell officiated at the 5 p.m. ceremony, and a reception followed.

The bride wore a strapless ivory taffeta gown embellished with pearls and gathered to a floral arrangement at the left hip. The full skirt swept into a chapel train.

Honor attendants were Rebecca Winzenried and Wayne Tice, both of New York.

The bride, who will retain her maiden name, graduated from Ohio University. She is the managing editor of NewMusicBox.org and the producer of CounterstreamRadio.org, programs of the American Music Center. She is also the host of Carnegie Hall's Sound Insights podcasts.

The groom is a graduate of the University of Michigan, The Peabody Conservatory of Music and the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He is a Grammy Award winning concert saxophonist and an internationally featured soloist, recitalist and chamber musician. He is also the co-founder of the duo Hybrid Groove Project and is a saxophonist with the United States Army Field Band of Washington.

The couple will divide their time between Baltimore and New York City.
