MELANIE KOONTZ CARL ANGIULI
X BOARDMAN — Carl Albert Angiuli and his bride, the former Melanie Lynn Koontz, honeymooned on the Hawaiian islands of Oahu and Maui after their Dec. 8, 2007, wedding at St. Charles Church and reception that evening at Antone's Banquet Centre.
The Rev. Philip Rogers officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Mary Ann and Ed Keifer, 842 Fairfield Drive, and John and Christine Koontz of Struthers, and the son of Mario and Rita Angiuli, 9610 Columbiana Canfield Road, Canfield.
The bride’s strapless white silk gown featured a pickup skirt and was enhanced with crystals, pearls and beading.
Cherry-red gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Jill Schmutz, and the bridesmaids, Jenn Bartholomew, Kelly Dobransky, Katie Ensley and Christina Lucci.
Gianni Colaizzi performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were the groom's brothers, Rocky, Anthony, Mario and Michael Angiuli. Ring bearer was the bride's godson, Blake Yendrek.
The bride graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in Spanish and received her master's in education/higher education from Youngstown State University, where she is a coordinator.
The groom is production manager and co-owner of Angiuli Farms and Market in Canfield. He graduated from YSU with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
The couple live at 863 Cedar Way, Boardman.
