X YOUNGSTOWN — Kelly Nicole Swick, daughter of Gary and Sue Swick of Canfield, and Benjamin James Tran, son of Khoi Tran of Houston and Sarah Pierson of Upper Sandusky, were married Sept. 29, 2007, at Zion Lutheran Church in Cornersburg.

The Rev. Dale Giffin presided, and a reception followed at the Maronite Center in Austintown.

After a honeymoon in San Francisco, the couple live in Xenia.

The bride wore a strapless ivory A-line gown featuring Italian-satin ribbon and crystals on the corseted bodice and styled with a cathedral-length train.

The bride’s twin, Melinda Swick of Findlay, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Staci MacDougall of Austintown; Deanna Wagner of Celina; Melissa LaRosa of Austin, Texas; Danielle Kepics of Pittsburgh; and Jennifer Tran and Elisabeth Tran of Upper Sandusky.

The best man was Timothy Hunter of Las Vegas, and groomsmen were Tyler McEldowny of Upper Sandusky, Austin Smith of Lebanon, Michael Westgate of Parma, Zack Hallock of Westlake, Alex Swick of Canfield and Jacob Berns of Nutley, N.J.

The bride is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration at Wright State University and is to graduate in August.

The groom is employed as a project engineer at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. He is pursuing a master’s degree in engineering at Wright State and is to graduate in 2009.
