to honor Billecs

X CAMPBELL — Family members and close friends gathered for a dinner party on Feb. 17 at TJ’s in the Holiday Inn, Boardman, as Mr. and Mrs. Edward Billec, 117 Gertrude Ave., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Hosts for the festivity were their children and their spouses, Donna and Tony Ditata of Struthers, Sue and Greg Shuluga of Poland, and Janet Billec and Denny Billec, both of Campbell. Their grandchildren are Anthony (T.J.) and Eddie Ditata of Las Vegas, Nicole, Denny and Aleia Billec of Canfield, and Ashley, Alyssa and Amanda Shuluga of Poland.

The former Rita Kosmo and Mr. Billec were united in marriage Feb. 15, 1958, at Holy Name Church in Youngstown. They are members of St. John the Baptist Church of Campbell.

Mrs. Billec retired in 2001 from Campbell City Schools as a secretary at Penhale Elementary School.

Mr. Billec was employed as a craneman at Republic Steel Division of LTV Steel Corp. in Youngstown prior to retiring in 1985.
