Citizens to discuss utility-bill proposals
LIBERTY — A group of citizens has organized a meeting on proposed changes to utility bills. Chris Varich, a staff member of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, will speak at 6:30 p.m. March 24 at the township administration building, 1315 Church Hill-Hubbard Road. He will discuss a proposed state energy bill, a proposal by Ohio Edison to raise its rates for distribution service and an attempt by Dominion East Ohio to turn over all sales of natural gas to marketing companies. Among those organizing the meeting is John Hammer of East Liberty Street.
Chiropractor opens Austintown office
AUSTINTOWN — Dr. Amy Toth Dahl has opened her new office, Dahl Chiropractic, at 25 N. Canfield-Niles Road, Suite 30. She is a graduate of National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Ill. She received her Ohio State Chiropractic License in August. She also received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Thiel College in Greenville, Pa.
