SteelHounds lose in shootout


LOVELAND, Colo. — Riley Nelson’s shootout goal gave the Colorado Eagles a 4-3 victory Saturday over the visiting Youngstown SteelHounds.

Eric Przepiorka’s third-period goal forced overtime. Also scoring goalsfor the SteelHounds were Joel Irving and Kurtis Dulle. Goaltender Andy Franck made 49 saves before the shootout session.

Depsite the loss, the SteelHounds earned a point. They play in Wichita, Kan., tonight against the Thunder.
