Sharon Regional Women’s Center sponsors seminar

SHARON, Pa. — The Women’s Center of Sharon Regional Health System is sponsoring its annual spring seminar, “The Total Woman, It’s All About Me,” from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 26 at Avalon Golf and Country Club at Buhl Park, 1030 Forker Blvd.

Topics and speakers include:

U“What are My Chances of Getting Breast Cancer” by Dr. Donald Keenan, breast surgeon.

U“What’s New in Breast Imaging” by Dr. Betty Shindel, breast imaging specialist.

U“Dance Your Way To Fitness” by Laura Carnuche, certified Pilates instructor.

U“Changes at Each Stage of Life” by Dr. Samir Wahib, obstetrics/gynecology.

U“What About The Rest of Me” by Dr. Jean Wilson, D.O., family practice.

U“Laughing at Myself! Keeping It All In Balance” by Crissy Durham Thompkins of Behavioral Health Services.

The day will include breakfast, lunch, door prizes, luncheon buffet and a Chinese Auction. There is a $20 fee, and a reservation is required.

The program is sponsored in part by a donation from the Olive Flamberg Foundation. Proceeds from the Chinese auction will be donated to the March of Dimes.
