Bill Clinton in Valley on Tuesday for private fundraiser

CANFIELD — Former President Bill Clinton will be making a stop in the Valley Tuesday on a fund-raising trip in support of his wife’s presidential bid.

Businessman Bruce Zoldan will be hosting a $1,000-per-ticket fund-raiser at his Canfield home.

The event will begin at about 8 p.m.

Harry Meshel, Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman for the Mahoning Valley, distributed invitations to various members of the community. Proceeds will aid Clinton’s primary campaign going into Pennsylvania.

“Money now is very important in the remaining states,” said Meshel. “Bill’s a pretty good campaigner. A lot of people like him.”

The former President has no plans to speak publicly, Meshel said.
