3 men arrested
WELLSVILLE — Three men were arrested Thursday at a church by the Columbiana County Special Response Team. Deputies went to the Bible Baptist Church, 42862 state Route 39, about 6:11 a.m. in response to a suspicious person.
Deputies found Steven Youngblood, no age available, of Sixteen School Road, ripping wires from a dashboard of a vehicle. Sheriff David Smith said Youngblood had been assaulted by two men who where in a mobile home on the church property.
Youngblood said the two people inside may have been armed. Smith used a bullhorn to order the men out of the trailer. They eventually surrendered and were taken into custody.
Youngblood was charged with felonious assault and criminal trespass. Lucas Fitch, 28, of Ruth Street, East Liverpool, and Ryan P. Oliver, 28, of Commerce Street, Wellsville, were both charged with burglary. A pistol was recovered at the scene.
