AUSTINTOWN — The Greater Youngstown Home and Garden Show returns to Austintown Plaza this weekend. The show will be held in the former Ames department store building. The show, sponsored by Nature Stone, features a park-like setting with landscape displays. A complete garage makeover valued at more than $7,500 will be given away. Free appraisals of antiques and collectibles will be offered by Dangerfield Auctions from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday. Chefs from several local restaurants will provide cooking demonstrations. New this year is a display of hot tubs, pool tables and home furnishings from Northeast Factory Direct. Hours are noon-9 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Call (330) 799-3111 for more information.

at gallery at mall

NILES — Art Outreach Gallery at Eastwood Mall will kick off National Youth Art Month Friday with a free display of art by pupils in grades kindergarten through 12 from Girard and McDonald, and the Trumbull County Educational Service Center Student Art Show and Auction. This is the first of three consecutive shows of student art, each running three weekends. The gallery is located along the concourse between Macy’s and J.C. Penney’s. Hours are 5-9 p.m. Friday; 1-9 p.m. Saturday; and 1-5 p.m. Sunday.

‘Charlie Brown’
at Westminster

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. — Westminster College Chapel Drama will present “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” at 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday in Wallace Memorial Chapel. The play is free to the public.
