The gap between those who support and those who oppose a 9.5-mill, five-year levy proposal in the Youngstown City School District is narrowing. The levy was rejected for the third time this week. An examination of its history shows:

11/6/06: Yes — 8,643; No — 10,781; Difference — 2,138.

11/7/07: Yes — 4,658; No — 6,479; Difference — 1,821.

3/4/08: Yes — 10,233; No — 11,312; Difference — 1,079.
