So. Range levy fails; Poland renewal levy passes

The South Range School District’s 2.5-mill renewal school levy failed 1,383-1,351, according to final unofficial vote counts from the Mahoning County Board of Elections. Also, the Poland School District’s 6.1-mill, five-year renewal levy passed 4,094-2,826.

The Boardman School District’s 1.6-mill renewal levy passed 9,313-6,357.

Vote totals in today’s edition of The Vindicator showed the South Range levy passing, the Poland levy failing, and had lower totals for the Boardman levy. The results in the paper were based on 89 percent of the vote totals received leading up to press time.
