Man to stand trial over threats to Pa. senator
BENSALEM, Pa. (AP) — A state senator from Bucks County says the man accused of threatening him needs help for mental problems.
Katsuo Clark is accused of saying he could shoot Sen. Tommy Tomlinson or Bensalem Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo at any time and leaving a knife and toy gun in the senator’s office. Clark’s brother-in-law, Bill Walker, says that was a confused attempt to get a job working security for the politicians.
Tomlinson says he’s known Clark since the mid-1970s, when he coached Clark in football at Bensalem High School. He says likes Clark and wants him to get help.
After Tuesday’s testimony from Tomlinson and police, Clark was ordered to stand trial on charges of terroristic threats and other offenses.
