Sunday: The Hartford native came up with highest finish of the 2008 Sprint Cup Series season — 26th — at the UAW Dodge 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Blaney started in 26th position and got has high as third place with an average speed of 116.115 mph on the day. He finished one lap behind race winner Carl Edwards in the Caterpillar Toyota No. 22.

Next: Blaney heads to suburban Atlanta for the Kobalt Tools 500 next Sunday.
