WARREN — Dr. John Barnhart of Warren has been certified as a fellow in the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. He is one of 18 optometrists awarded fellow status last year. The certification identifies optometrists who are prepared to offer clinical services in behavioral and developmental vision care, vision therapy and vision rehabilitation.

BOARDMAN — Nancy Cuffle, a real estate agent for Re/Max Valley Real Estate in Boardman, was presented with the 100 Percent Club Award. This is awarded to high-producing Re/Max sales associates.

CANFIELD — Bridget Soyka-Smith, a Canfield native and president of Soyka Smith Design Studios in New Jersey, has been named a finalist for the 2008 Enterprising Women of the Year Award. The award is presented by Enterprising Women Magazine. Ms. Soyka-Smith is a graduate of Canfield High School and the University of Cincinnati.
