Nominations sought by YSU for leadership honor
YOUNGSTOWN — Youngstown State University is looking for nominees for its first Diversity Leadership Recognition Celebration.
The program, sponsored by KeyBank, has three recognition categories: Leader of Tomorrow, Campus Leadership and Community Leadership. For nominating criteria and to submit a nomination, visit the Diversity Leadership Web site at http://www.ysu.edu/NominationFormLDB.pdf. Nominations must be postmarked by Saturday.
The purpose of the program is to celebrate and embrace diversity at YSU and in the community and to recognize that we share a common goal of educating our leaders of tomorrow.
The date for the Diversity Recognition Celebration is April 10 at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education & Visitor Center, 125 McKinley Avenue. The cost is $25 per person.
The keynote speaker will be Minority Leader Ray Miller of the Ohio Senate.
