GETTING THERE: Interstates 10 and 65 and U.S. 98 connect to the main beach Alabama Highway 59, which ends at Gulf Shores. Major airlines serve both Pensacola, Fla., a 45-minute drive from Orange Beach, Ala., and Mobile, a one-hour drive from Gulf Shores.
