Last week: The Hartford native started 16th and finished 20th at the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, Calif. It was Blaney’s fifth top 20 finish in his last seven races.

Season to date: Blaney remains in 29th place in the Sprint Cup driver standings with 1,299 points. He’s 91 points behind No. 28 David Reutimann.

This week: Blaney and the rest of the Sprint Cup series head to New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the LENOX Industrial Tools 301. He has had a checkered career there, earning a pole position (last July) but an average finishing position of 25th in 16 career starts. Television coverage is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. with the green flag dropping at 2 p.m.
