As of Monday, the American Red Cross Northern Ohio Blood Services Region, which serves hospitals in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties, was below the minimum three-day supply of all eight blood types, with Type O Negative at a critically low level. Blood types and their supply levels:
O positive, 1.2 days
A positive, 2.1 days
B positive, 3.4 days
AB positive, 13.5 days
O negative, 0.1 days
A negative, 1.2 days
B negative, 0.6 days
AB negative, 4.6 days.
