Man found shot to death on East Side

YOUNGSTOWN — An unidentified black man was shot to death early today in a wooded area near Commonwealth Avenue on the East Side. Capt. Kenneth Centorame, chief of detectives, said the victim, likely in his early 20s, was not a missing person. He said there was no identification on the body, no keys, no coins and no drugs. No car was in the vicinity, either. A passer-by discovered the body around 5:45 a.m. Centorame said the body hadn’t been there long before being discovered.
