Road closings

The commissioners voted to close three roads for culvert replacements:

Gladstone Road from North Duck Creek Road to Reuther Drive, Monday through Friday.

South Duck Creek Road from U.S. Route 224 to Berlin Station Road, Tuesday through Thursday.

Mahoning-Trumbull County Line Road from North Hubbard Road to state Route 616, July 7-11.

They also approved closing two roads for special events:

Raccoon Road between Kirk Road and Falcon Drive, 2 to 4 p.m. Friday for Austintown’s Independence Day Parade.

Quarry Road between Kennedy Road and the Lowellville Village limits, 6 p.m. to midnight, July 16-19, for the annual Mount Carmel celebration.
