Cyclist killed in Warren


WARREN – A 45-year-old Warren motorcyclist was killed today when his cycle collided with a car driven by a 91-year-old.

Sgt. Larry Salvato, city police traffic commissioner, said a car driven by Iva Clapper, of Nob Hill Drive, Niles, was westbound in Youngstown Road at 10:11 a.m. and attempted to turn onto Ridge Road.

Clapper turned into the path of the eastbound cycle driven by Terrance L. Primis, of Rogers Avenue, who was killed, Salvato said.

No charges have been filed as the accident remains under investigation.
