ASSOCIATIONS

• William Penn Association is sponsoring its annual end-of-summer picnic from noon to 6 p.m. Sept. 13 at Penn Scenic View Park near Seven Springs, Pa. A 46-seat bus has been chartered, and the fee will depend upon how many people attend. A deposit of $35 is requested with each reservation, with checks made payable to William Penn Branch 28 and mailed to William Penn Association, 1606 Albert St., Youngstown OH 44505. If fuel costs require the bus company to add to the fee, members will be notified by phone how much extra will be due on the day of the trip. Otherwise, the $35 will cover transportation and admission to the picnic. Cancellations must be made before Sept. 6 to get a refund. For those not taking the bus, admission to the picnic is $10 per adult and $4 per student for all you can eat and drink, all day. The bus will depart from the Boardman Red Lobster at 8 a.m. and arrive back at about 10:30 p.m. For more information and to make reservations, call (330) 746-7704 or (330) 549-2935.
