St. Christine’s parish festival, 3165 S. Schenley Ave., Youngstown’s West Side, opens for the weekend, with rides, games and entertainment.

The Boardman Community Theater presents “Les Miserables” at 7:30 p.m., with additional shows at the same time Friday and Saturday, and a 2:30 p.m. matinee Saturday, at Boardman Performing Arts Center, 7777 Glenwood Ave., Boardman.

Blondie brought glitzy New York punk to the masses in the ’80s. The famed band is back on the road doing what it does best, and will make a stop at 7:30 p.m. at The Harv at Mountaineer Resort in Chester, W.Va. Tickets range from $20 to $80 through Ticketmaster.

Vicious Cycle, a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band, headlines the entertainment at Warren Amphitheater. The free event runs from 5-11 p.m.

The Juneteenth celebration continues from 11 a.m. to dusk at Holy Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, 505 Parkcliffe Ave., Youngstown, with amusement rides, a baking contest, storytellers, clowns, a line dance contest, food, African-American products and a performance by vocal group Distinguished Gentlemen.
