HMHP foundation awards scholarships

YOUNGSTOWN — An 11th annual Nursing Scholarship Awards Luncheon was sponsored by Humility of Mary Health Partners Development Foundation on June 3 at the private dining rooms of St. Elizabeth Health Center. The event marked the conclusion of two scholarship programs and was highlighted by the awarding of scholarships.

Students from Mercy College of Northwest Ohio receiving scholarships were: Monica Inchak, Lawrence Starr IV, Jodie Stratton, Kayla Yartz, Karen Schesler, JoAnn Olson, Rocky Pitoscia, David Onder, Julie Sevek, and Laura Kunovic

Students of Youngstown and Kent state universities receiving scholarships were: Jan Haycox, Daneen Mace, Heidi Aifen, Lauren Callahan, Jessica Cartwright, Ryan Costlow, Brittney Kubina, Kate Law, Lindsay Stojkov, Gloria Candella, Patricia Kountz, Sarbjit Sandhu, Renee Sferra and Susan Crist.

Recipients were selected through a formal review process by members of the HMHP nursing and administrative staffs.
