Arrest made in Nevada for heist at Warren school
WARREN – A 21-year-old Warren man wanted in connection with the armed robbery of a city school will appear today in a Nevada court after his arrest there.
Timothy Anderson was taken into custody about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday by the U.S. Marshal Service outside an apartment complex in Henderson, located about a half-hour drive southeast of Las Vegas.
Anderson is being held in the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas on a fugitive from justice warrant and will appear in the Clark County Justice Court.
He is accused of stealing $11,000 in tuition money June 16 from the staff of Lincoln Elementary on Atlantic Street. The day of the robbery was the day to register for summer school.
