• Chaney High School Classes of 1947, 1948 and 1949 will meet for lunch at 1 p.m. July 9 at Molly’s Restaurant, Salt Springs Road.

• East Palestine High School Class of 1948 has chosen Aug. 2 for its 60th class reunion at Heid Hall on East Main Street in East Palestine. Activities will begin with a social at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 7. Dress is casual. Class graduates and their guests are asked make reservations with James Lynch, Bruce VanFossen, Dona Braden, Betty Reeves or Barb Reeves. The reunion will coincide with East Palestine High School All Alumni Weekend.

• The 50-year reunion of The Rayen School Class of 1958 will be a two-day event at the Holiday Inn in Boardman. A social is planned for July 18, and a dinner-dance will take place July 19. Anyone not contacted should call John Morey at (330) 758-2971 or Erla Welker Magni at (330) 757-4007.

• The 50th-year reunion of South High School Class of 1958 will take place in September and will feature the following activities:

• Sept. 12 — Meeting in parking lot of the old Donnell Ford Building at 3:30 p.m. and leave for a tour of the high school.

• Sept. 12 — Spouses and guests are welcome at a mixer to take place at 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, South Avenue, Boardman. There will be a cash bar, and snacks will be provided.

• Sept. 13 — A banquet will take place at the Holiday Inn beginning with a cash bar at 6 p.m., followed by a group picture at 7 and the buffet dinner at 7:30.

• Sept 14 — A breakfast buffet will be available from 10 a.m. to noon at the Holiday Inn.
