Police: Skeletal remains are of missing Ohio woman

PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (AP) — Authorities say they have confirmed that skeletal remains found near a remote wooded area in southern Ohio are those of a 21-year-old pregnant woman missing since August.

Portsmouth police say the remains discovered in April are those of Amber Howard of Portsmouth, a single mother of a 2-year-old boy.
