Human resource society to hold dinner meeting

K-9 Design expands with hire of groomer, manager

LIBERTY — K-9 Design has expanded by hiring a groomer and manager, Norma Howard. She has been grooming for 15 years. The business opened a year ago at 3620 Belmont Ave., but has focused on providing space for breeders to sell puppies. Now, services include grooming for more than 30 breeds as well as cat grooming. The owner is Marti Drozdik.

Nonni’s Ristorante Bar opens doors in Liberty

LIBERTY — Michael and Joni Murray have opened Nonni’s Ristorante Bar at 4042 Belmont Ave. The menu was inspired by their grandmothers, Lena DeSantis and Mayme DeCapua. The restaurant, which features Tuscan decor, serves lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday. It features homemade sauce and meatballs, lasagna and chicken with greens and peppers.
